Data Privacy Statement

 

Section 1

Information concerning the collection of personal data

(1) Information about the collection of personal data when using our website is provided below. Personal data is all data which can be related to you personally, such as your name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.

(3) When you contact us by email or using the registration form, the data notified by us will be stored by us for the purpose of answering your query or registering you. (4) As a matter of principle, we erase the data if the purpose for which the data has been collected no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations prohibit erasure. If erasure is not possible, for example, because the data is stored in an electronic archiving system, it will be blocked for further processing.

(4) If we have contract service providers for individual functions of our offering or if we would like to use your data for promotional purposes we shall inform you in detail of the relevant operations, as shown below. In doing do, we will also let you know the criteria stipulated for the duration of storage.

Your rights

(1) You have the following rights against us in relation to the personal information concerning you:

(2) You have the right to submit a complaint to the competent supervisory authority if there are infringements of the applicable data protection law. Section 3

Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) If you use the website simply for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not send us any information, we collect only the personal data which your browser sends to our server. If and when you wish to view our website we collect the following technical data which we need to enable us to show you our website and ensure stability and security (the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) letter f) GDPR):

–   IP address

–   date and time of request

–   time zone difference relative to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

–   content of request (specific site)

–   access status/HTTP status code

–   data volume transmitted in each case

–   website from which the request emanates

–   browser

–   operating system and its interface

–   version of browser software

 

(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your hard drive in association with the browser you use and through which certain information flows to the agency which places the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot initiate programs or transmit viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the internet service more user-friendly and more effective overall.

(3) Use of cookies:

a)  This website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and functionality is explained below:

–   Transient cookies (see b)

b)  Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These specifically include the session cookies. These store what is known as a session ID which allows different queries from your browser to be assigned to the joint session, enabling your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

c) You can configure your browser setting as you wish and, for instance, refuse to accept third-party cookies or any cookies at all. We should point out that you might not be able to use all the functions of this website.

 

Section 4

Processing of your personal data at registration

(1) You have the option of registering on our home page by using a form provided by us. In this case you will be asked to provide your first name, last name, address, house number, postcode, town and country), email address, telephone number and fax as well as the name of the company, staging area and references.

(2) We use your data to inform you by email, phone or post about offers and auctions[pm021]  and to invite you to events such as previews, anniversaries etc.

(3) The data you send us is stored by us. By sending us the message you are consenting to the processing of the data. Your consent constitutes the legal basis for processing your personal data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) letter a) GDPR.

(4) As a matter of principle, we erase the data if the purpose for which the data has been collected no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations prohibit erasure. If erasure is not possible, for example, because the data is stored in an electronic archiving system, it will be blocked for further processing.

(5) You may revoke your consent, without stating reasons, in text form (e.g. email to: info@coinhirsch.de). Revocation of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing which has been performed based on the consent up until revocation.

     (6) You shall be authorized at any time to request information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) concerning the personal data about you that is stored. You also have the right to request that the data be rectified (subject to the preconditions of Art. 16 GDPR) and/or erased (subject to the preconditions of Art. 17 GDPR) and/or that the processing thereof be restricted (subject to the preconditions of Art. 18 GDPR). You can also request a data transfer at any time subject to the preconditions of Art. 20 GDPR.

Google Maps

(1)   We use the Google Maps service on this website. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and makes it easy for you to use the map function.

(2)   By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant sub-page of our website. Data is transmitted regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in and regardless of whether or not there is a user account. If you are logged in to Google your data is directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish it to be assigned to your profile on Google you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the design of its website in accordance with its requirements. This kind of use (even for users who are not logged in) is specifically for the purpose of providing advertising as required and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. Section 6

Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies. The information generated by the Google cookie concerning your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website for us, compile reports on the website activities for us and provide additional services associated with the use of the website and internet. Google will also transmit this information to third parties in some cases where this is prescribed by law or where third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for using Google Analytics is section 15 (3) German Telemedia Act or Art. 6 (1) letter f) GDPR. Sessions and campaigns are terminated after the expiry of a specified time period. The norm is for sessions to be terminated after 30 minutes without activity and campaigns after six months. The time limit for campaigns can amount to no more than two years. We would like to point out that our website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" for the purpose of improving privacy. In this case, your IP address will be truncated first by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and only truncated there.

(2) You may opt out of placement of the Google Analytics cookies through your browser extension. This enables you to exercise your right to object to the future collection, processing and use of the data by Google Analytics. To do this, you can install the deactivation add-on for Google Analytics browsers, which allows you to prevent Google Analytics from storing information about your website visits.

Section 7

Integration of YouTube videos

(1)   We have integrated in our online offer YouTube videos which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in “expanded data protection mode”, i.e. no data concerning you as user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only if you play the videos will the data specified in paragraph 2 be transferred. We have no control of this data transfer.

(2)   By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the relevant sub-page of our website. The data specified in section 3 of this Statement is also transmitted. This happens regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in and regardless of whether or not there is a user account. If you are logged in to Google[pm022]  your data is directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish it to be assigned to your profile on YouTube you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the design of its website in accordance with its requirements. Use of social media links

(1) We currently use the following social media links: [Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn]. We use what is known as the doubleclick solution here, meaning that, as a matter of principle, no personal data is transferred to the link providers when you visit our site. The link provider is identifiable through the label on the box through its initial letters or the logo. We provide you with the option of using the button to communicate directly with the link provider. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the link provider receive the information that you have accessed our online offer's corresponding website. The data specified in (3) of this Statement is also transmitted. In the case of Facebook, according to the information of the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the link, personal data concerning you will therefore be sent to the relevant link provider and stored there (in the USA in the case of US providers). Since the link provider performs the data collection by using cookies in particular, we recommend that you delete all cookies prior to clicking on your browser's security settings.

(2) We have no influence on the data which is collected or the data processing operations, nor do we know the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage periods. Nor do we have any information concerning the erasure of the collected data by the link provider.

(3) The link provider stores the data collected about you as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the design of its website in accordance with its requirements. This kind of use (even for users who are not logged in) is specifically for the purpose of presenting advertising as required and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of this user profile; to exercise it you must contact the respective link provider. The link allow us to offer you the option of interacting with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as users. The legal basis for use of the link is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR.

(4) The data transfer happens regardless of whether you have an account with the link provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in to the link provider your data which is collected by us will be allocated directly to your existing account with the link provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the site, the link provider also stores this information in your user account and publicly notifies your contacts thereof. We recommend that after using a social network you make a habit of logging out, especially before activating the button, since this will allow you to avoid having your data allocated to your profile by the link provider.
